Do I need to winterize?

I have a newer Honda 8hp 4stroke on my Pearson 26 and I don't know if I need to winterize or not. I am located in east TN on the TN river, and the river never freezes, but the outside temperature does get bellow freezing quite often. Also the way it is mounted I have no way to get it out of the water without it being tilted at an angle. Do I need to winterize it or should it be fine? Thanks in Advance.

Re: Do I need to winterize?

By winterize do you mean ensure there is no water anywhere in the motor? If so yes, or leave it in the water, I'm not a proponent of leaving it in the water, but if you do, it won't freeze and bust anything.
