Diesel heater on kerosene?

I seem to remember someone saying that occasionally running a diesel heater on kerosene will clean it out. Any thoughts? Yes or no?

Re: Diesel heater on kerosene?

It probably wouldn't hurt because kerosene certainly burns much cleaner than diesel. If you have a separate header tank or storage tank, why not run a tank full through it.
