Davit Reinforcing Hardware - Sources ?

I am installing SS davits and want to tie them to the mizzen boom gallows to make a more rigid overall structure. The boom gallows legs are 1.5-inch schedule 40 stainless and the davit arms are 1.25" stainless tube. I am looking for collars with pad eyes to clamp around the assembly. I can then fab up some tube with pad eye ends to make the connector. I have contacted several marine sites and so far no one has anything big enough to go around the 1.5-inch boom gallows legs. Who are the manufacturers/vendors I should be contacting? Thanks

Gord you never cease to amaze me. What search terms did you use?

I am trying to figure out how Kee Systems size their fittings I suspect it is metric but I haven't confirmed that on the site. Perhaps an email is in order. Thanks again, and "Keep those cards and letters coming!"

They're not the only ones making a similar system.
Also available in North America, so probably both Metric & Imperial. Check the pipe/tubing sizes.

mind you there all galvanised and really not suitable for sea water exposure. F51, why not weld.

Welding would be nice, but:
1. I would have to hire it done and it is expensive.
2. I would prefer to have it removable non-destructively.
3. I like the satisfaction of solving a problem myself.

Mind you, I am looking for stainless, not galvanized.

Thanks for the input.

try Handrail Components and Handrail Systems in All Metals ( who I think own Kee), they do a wagnerrail line of stainless fittings, just be aware though that many of these fittings are good under compression rather then tensile forces.
