If the insides are slippery I wonder if a more benign adhesive or double-sided tape would help.

I've wondered about that. At one stage I even considered sewing an interior liner to the covers. But, now that I have read up on tufting (so much easier when someone tells you what to search for) I can see my problem is pretty well universal.

Never tried it but I wonder if a shot of spray glue between the foam and fabric would work. After getting the cover on perfectly of course.

Yeah, you’d want to get it right.[emoji51]

But I’d suspect, over time, it would tear the glued join.
