Cruisair A/C filter material

My Cruiseair 16k btu A/C filter is coming apart from many cleanings over the years. It is a black plastic woven fabric mesh material and frays at the edges. I have not been able to find a replacement for it. Two questions: Do you know the proper name for this filter material? Who can supply it? I would expect that an A/C filter house would have it, but if I can't name it, I can't order it. Thanks.

Most any good hardware stores will have it.......just go and ask to see their filter media.
