Coupling (Joiner, Connector) for 1" SS Tubing?

Has anyone seen a fitting that will join two ends of 1" Stainlesss steel tubing? I need a rigid coupling type of thing....no pivot...?

Yea, I've got some stuff from them too... They dont seem to have these. Not sure I've ever seen them or not... kinda like a SS Tee without the Tee!

Are you looking for a tube connector?? In the past i have used the next size up tube as a connector.

You just need to insure that the OD of the tubes you need to join fits inside the ID of a tube for a connector. Then slip over the tubes to be join and drill and screw or rivet.

What you are looking for does exist - I know because I have one.

It slips over 1" tube with a close clearance fit and has a raised ridge running along it to give some thickness for the four threaded set screw holes. It’s definitely a casting.

It’s about 4 inches long, made of stainless, and polished.

The trouble is I can’t remember where I got it, or what it was called.

Obviously I’m not much help.

I'm doing my best not to have to fabricate something or special order only a foot of tubing etc but I may have to.

Looks like you’ll need access to a drill press to drill and tap for 1/4-28 set screws.
