companion way steps

Just bought a 1978 Cal 34 mk lll. While previous owner was doing a valve job the steps were destroyed or lost. sure would like to find some good photos or blueprints. Have a good woodworking shop just not sure what to build.
Thank you
Darrell

Re: companion way steps

Look for a pair of lock pins or brackets that would secure the top of the steps and a pair of U-shaped sockets to receive the base of the steps. These features will determine the dimensions of the side boards of the steps. The typical step platforms or rungs are ten to twelve inches apart.
