I hope so a 5k ( 17,000btu max output) fuel from .19 to .5 lph depending on setting. So its economical to.
Now I just need to get the ducting done .
One at the front of the dinette and one in the head .

How's that heater working out? Also, how did you split the output? Did you tap into the main diesel tank, or use its own day tank?

Matt as I'm sure you have noticed it takes me a while to accomplish any projects on my own boat . Haven't finished the install yet. But with the temporary install the heater is running great . For now it is actually being fed from a Gatorade bottle. Eventually yes I will be tapping into the main tank. ( still working on the gas to diesel cleaning and converting of the 22 gallon tank) . Should have that finished by spring ( I hope. )

As to splitting the output the unit came with a tee for splitting the output.
I will be terminating with adjustable grills. ( for both direction and volume of flow.)

More install pictures of furnace. The vent is under the edge of the port quarter berth and blows towards the galley sink . Boat stays toasty.

And for now I mounted the 10ltr day tank in the engine room feeding the furnace .
Should last about a week of heating depending on how cold it gets.

I’m just starting the install on mine, at the moment it’s still warm enough to stay comfortable with the Taylors kero stove.... can’t wait to get the diesel heater all done and have heat in every compartment, including the head and v-berth, which the kero heater can’t reach...

Finally got around to the Lfp battery and its enclosure .
4p4s setup 25ah cells . Total is 100 ah at 12v nom.
The bottom and sides of the enclosure are 1 continuous piece heat bent to form.

Yes they are temporary for bench testing only . ( was what I had on hand at the time in the shop.) final connections will be soldered and shrink tubed before actual installation.
