Re: columbia defender hull #60
Hey Newhaul what are you going to bed that flooring with ? I'm looking at something along the same lines with my flooring in my Cape Dory 28. Or at least with some of the veneer along the sides. I'm not sure just how much I want to rip out and redo. More pictures of that project would be nice.

Re: columbia defender hull #60
I will post more pictures as I take them .
May be a while it took me 6 months to get around to just acquiring this piece of linoleum . I might just let it lay there till next fall before I get to glueing it down . I will keep everyone posted.
Next I will post a few pictures of the solar install I did last fall.

My linoleum was apparently not marine grade, it's all peeling up. But then I think its been in there for over 10 years. Where do you find marine grade?
Let's see some shots of the engine installed!

Re: columbia defender hull #60
I had to scrap a Defender a few years ago when the scrap value was much higher than I could sell her for. That was a very sad day.
But... I have practically brand new (only used maybe a dozen times) v-berth cushions (both foam & upholstery is essential new) that I would be happy to give you if you cover the shipping cost.
PM me if you're interested.

What a sad day, those Defenders are rare. I looked for one and didn't see a single one for sale. I also missed out on an Islander 30 which has a similar flush deck set up. Anyway, that's a real shame but sometimes life happens.

Just scored a big roll of Cryogel 18' x56" by 10mm thick . Plenty to do my refrigerator conversion for half price.
I will be posting pictures as I do the job .

I cant wait to see this. Are you converting the ice box that is in our boats? I want refrigeration in mine as well, if converting that box and using the same space is an option I look forward to your pictures.
