clear glide wire pulling lubricant as a bottom barnacle coating

I have been following along on this thread and someone posted that clear glide kept the prop and rudder clean of growth after 6 months.

So I wonder if anyone has any experience using it in its intended usage and how it reacts under water. There are several formulations and one includes teflon.

I thought about that, and wont be any concentrated soap in the sea.

Just thinking some more you know some underground cable conduits are filled with water. I need to buy some and test it before doing any more thinking.

We have had good results with "Fissan Paste" A thick, lanolin based zinc salve for babies tender regions. 6 months but our prop only turns 300 RPM.

I've tried anhydrous lanolin on the prop and strut. Did not last more than a month. Above water great stuff. Not so under water. Sluffs off and fish munch on it.
