Cheap Way to Make Unsinkable

I say put a bunch of inflatable rafts inside the cabin. Be sure to double what you think you will need because half of them will probably fail to inflate.

Wouldn't it be fun to put hydrostatic switches on all of them, watch the boat sink and then watch the boat pop to the surface like a submerged beach ball? Nothing would beat seeing your boat broach the surface like a nuclear sub doing an emergency surfacing.

Ha! You're all wrong... the obvious answer is stilts really, really long ones. In light air you could use them to hang extra sails on and in heavy air stand the boat on them... you'd look like a miniature Oil platform but who cares you wouldn't sink!
