Muckle, that is exactly what I am doing. I have built up the stbd box with 1 layer g10 1/2" FRP epoxied to the hull and the five layers of 12mm marine ply sealed with CPES and each layer epoxied in place. This got me the thickness I needed. Then I drilled some holes and bolted her in place to allow epoxy to cure. Now I have just a couple hours to finish it up. It is really straight forward doing it this way.
