Cetol Natural Teak applied OVER Cetol Marine Gloss?

5 years ago we refinished our exterior teak with 3 coats of Cetol Natural Teak followed by 3 coats of Cetol Marine Gloss. We’ve done 2 maintenance coats of Cetol Marine Gloss each year.

This has worked well BUT we are now in New Zealand where Cetol Marine Gloss cannot be sold. We can buy Cetol Natural Teak.

Has anyone applied Cetol Natural Teak OVER Cetol Marine Gloss?

What were the results?

We just heard back from them finally. They say you CAN apply the Cetol Natural Marine Teak over the gloss as long as you sand with 220 beforehand. We’ll try!
