Calibrating Simrad Wheelpilot 32

I have had a 32 wheelpilot for over ten years, and recently it stopped operating. I installed a new circuit board and fluxgate compass, and cannot get the thing calibrated. I have been circling to starboard at 2 knots, as per manual, and just cannot get it done. Can anyone out there put me out of my misery??
