Thanks,

Try these guys. They were very helpful when I had to replace my forestay. They had some Navtec rod in stock. They used to supply C&C at one time.

Why trust printed literature or what someone else may have on their boat?

I'd try here: Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices

The C&C Yachts - C&C Photo Album & Resource Center has lots of C&C information.

FWIW, the Navtec rod rigging on my Golden Wave 42 sloop (tall rig) was 7mm.

I think the Navtec rod is measured by breaking strength rather than diameter.

You're right, thanks, I just learned something new.

Picky, picky :-)

Yes, Vasco is right, rod rigging is usually quoted by strength.

So, my Navtec 7mm rod rigging is known as "-12"

Navtec Nitronic 50 Rod

Ain't this fun?
