Bottom paint - What not to paint.

My friend is getting ready to have the bottom of his boat painted. It will be done in the yard by the yard. Just wondering if the keel coolers for the fridge and freezer should be painted? They are a block shape about the size of a bricks.

We will do the zincs after the paint job. I wonder if we should do the zincs before incase we need to clean under them?

Keel Coolers do not require painting. Doing so would decrease the units thermal efficiency.

Zincs need to be installed on bare metal, and of course do not paint the zincs.
