Bottom Paint on Aluminum

I have a fiberglass boat with an aluminum s-drive, Volvo Penta. The prior owners painted it with Seahawk 44 and I also did last year. I have been disappointed in the durability and would like to switch to Trinidad SR a hard paint but high in copper.
With the aluminum S-drive this creates a problem. Any suggestions?
Could I paint the hull with one type of paint and the s-drive with another?
Can you prepare the aluminum and paint the entire hull with the SR?
I will be going on the hard and paying to have the Sea Hawk removed to prepare for a new paint.
