Just curious what is everyone paying to have a diver clean their bottoms?

In Southern California expect to pay about $1.25/foot. San Francisco Bay Area- $2.25/foot.

Curious... are we talking per foot LOA (LOD?) or per foot LWL or something else?

Wot - that will also depend. MOST (not all) will charge by your LOD. Independents will charge less than your "companies". When I was in Channel Islands California, I used a 'company' - $1.35/ft x 43' (LOA) plus $10 per zinc to replace (with mine) or plus the cost of zincs.

Here in Ventura I use an independent, $1/ft LWL free zinc replacement with your (my) zinc.

Eastern Long Island I think it's about $100 a shot to get a diver down.

I was in Camden and a diver was doing a boat near buy and I asked him if her would clean the prop, as I suspected I had it wrapped with some line. He chared me $15 or $20.

LI Sound you'll find divers charge a high rate for a one-time visit, but usually charge something like half of that rate (per visit) if you are in one of their regular marinas and they service your boat every week or two weeks. Somebody has the "regular" business in most marinas or clubs.

$35 / visit for running gear and through hulls or $2 /ft for a bottom clean. This from professional divers that do a good job and show up regualrly. I suppose it's the same every where that you can find a cheaper job from someone that just does it when they feel like and may not do as good a job.

The hull cleaning biz in NY is like something out of "The Sopranos." The harbormaster doles out hull cleaning jobs to the divers on a list he has compiled. Better be on his good side or you might find yourself off that list. Not only that, but the divers kick back a percentage of what they earn in that marina, to the marina. Quite a racket, if you ask me.
