Hello All,

I want to upgrade my boat cleaning kit. What is everyone’s favorite soaps, and products for keeping the boat looking good. My boat is painted with what I think is AlexSeal. I’m finding it tough to get tougher stains off the boat even with heave scrubbing.

We currently use toilet bowl cleaner or soft scrub with bleach.

But our boat looks like a chalk board.....so my products are useless for your paint.

Cleaners that include some bleach are a good idea. Bleach breaks down lipids, fats that make up cell walls, so it kills anything in our evolutionary train of life. Lots of cleaning in a boat involves killing stuff, starting with mildew.
