Best Bottom Paint for S. Florida and the Keys

Thinking about trinidad sr, boat is a 30 ft with a fin keel how much paint should I need for 2 coats?

From my research, when I haul this fall or next spring it will be Trinidad SR or Micron 66.

- - Try to find Trinidad 75 (boatyard) paint. It is not normally sold retail, only to boatyards. It is the highest copper content of any of the paints. If you do find it sand the old paint with 80 grit paper to remove dead matrix then thin the first coat of Trinidad 75 with Petite T120 (old name 12120) about 20%. Subsequent coats tin about 5-10%. The paint is so thick it will require extensive power stirring with a 1/2" electric drill and a strong stirring rod. The paint dries very quickly so it is a two person job. One stirring and keeping the copper up in suspension and refilling the roller tray while the other rolls on the paint.
- - For the final coat use Trinidad SR. Overcoating the SR is a waste of money as you are burying the Slime chemical. Use it as the final coat only.

friend of mine used it here in east central florida and it didn't last very long. had to haul out within a year. my trinidad held up for three years and was still good when i hauled out....
