beer sometime. I'll look into the West Pro-set. Didn't even know they made it. The tech. from West Systems recommended fairing with 105, thickened to mayonnaise consistency with 407 as well. Guess it is better than the colloidal silica I usually use. Time is really not of the essence for me. It's not like I'm doing the job for someone else. So I think I can do this
single handed with slow hardener and
work at a pace to easily get one side/day done by myself. Right now the
boat needs to sit for at least a month to get the moisture content down. I drilled right up through the bottom of the
keel in a couple of places to let any trapped
water out and am depending on summer heat to dry her enough to glass over by September before heading south. The internal lead ballast was laid in a
bed of balsa on these things which will take a long time to shed its moisture. Shoulda just left her out after last
winter but the urge to go sailing took over
