Any opinions on filing copper and lead dust in the anti-fouling?
Yes, I know. Even the thought of it makes some sailors go mad.
...but
I know for a fact that leaving the boat in the water alone even for a week causes serious growth in here (Istanbul). Is filing copper and lead into the anti-foulingpaint a better alternate than renewing the anti-foul every season?

If "improving" an existing anti fouling product was as easy as simply pouring copper filings into it, everybody would do it. But they dont. Because it doesn't work.
As far as the possibility of your using a TbT-based anti fouling paint- there is a reason most of the civilized world has adopted the ban on this stuff. It's nasty poison that is still actively damaging the environment. Just because you can buy it doesn't mean you should buy it.
Tributyltin (TBT) is an active ingredient in certain antifouling paints (and) is one of the most dangerous substances ever deliberately introduced into the marineenvironment.
