64' Schooner Rebuild

I am looking at refurbishing a 64ft Schooner. The vessel will require new or second hand sails.

What would be the cost to refit the vessel with a set of sails on 18 metre masts?

Couple of Q's
1, Where is the Schooner?
2, What type of schooner is she?

I ask because we are doing ours, we are in Cowes, the Schooner is a Gaff, Stay Sl on 50ft masts.

Cost around nine grand.
Doing a lot of the work our selves is going to save a good bit I think you need to get a few estimates.
Quality (sown eyes and clews, leather anti- chafe, triple stitching etc) is
more important that cost.

Talk to a local sail maker rather than big nationals or even inter - nationals, often have lower over - heads, and a more caring attitude to you the owner.

She is lying in Crotone (Italy) at present. Im hoping to have her ready to sail back to South Africa by Jul/Aug 2011.

That 9 grand is that Dollars US or Pounds?
