Following. with a
Teak Deck+Caprail, and other exterior
teak, it's been a struggle for the past 20+ years. We had great success with Deks'Ole while in
Asia (very high sun), but when we left
Asia we could no longer find it. Switched to
Varnish (didn't last), then natural greying, and now we've been using Semco Natural. Easy to apply, protection lasts about a year here in the Caribb, and provides a fair amount of protection to the
wood. The "new" Cetol", ie, non-orange looking, is used by many
boats we've seen, but Semco is far easier to apply, and looks really good. Tough to beat, IMHO.
