1987 26'Imperial

Hello Guys,
I just bought a 1987 Imperial 26 ft cruiser.
I got the boat as a deal, its has twin 260 hp V6 engines in it.
Im not sure but they may be volvo penta, and may need rebuilding.
Anyone familiar with Imperial boats?
Anyone knows where I can get those engines rebuilt back to working condition,
please let me know, its my first boat.
Thank you guys.

Sounds like you have a motor yacht or trawler. You may have better luck on Trawler Forum as this is primarily a sailing forum.

Good luck.

Welcome to CF dahoma!

Don't know anything about the "Imperial" brand... You need to do some picture taking or googling to recognize the looks, and let us know what you have... The 80's was the heyday of "just throw whatever we can find cheap" into the engine bays...

Could be Mercs, VP's, Chryslers...
