YSB12 Electric Fuel Pump

Hey Folks!! HEEEEELLLLLP!!

I've just identified a fuel pressure problem back to the electric fuel pump, which no longer functions. It appears to be the original (on a 1978 Hunter 30), which makes the lifespan remarkable.

My problem is, I can't find a suitable replacement! The original is a Hitachi (model #FP1-01) with the banjo fittings. HItachi doesn't make these any more.

I've been to auto shops and they have diesel pumps, but the fittings don't match.

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement pump?

Thanks in advance

Not sure what kind of pump you had, but I got a Walbro electric fuel pump for a polishing system that might work. FRB model, IIRC.

Pings like the electric fuel pump on old British cars.

Re: YSB12 Electric Fuel Pump

Did you ever get a new pump for the engine? I too am looking to replace the Hitachi on my YSB 12.
