Yanmar YSM12 hand-crank takeoff shaft.
Yanmar YSM12 hand-crank takeoff shaft. Does anyone know how this engine's hand-crank takeoff shaft achieves its ratcheting connection? After working for years, mine ceased "catching" recently so this attractive fall-back engine -starting option is no longer working. Is there a way to re-activate it without removing the engine's face plate?
