Yanmar Keyless Instrument Panel - Tachometer Background Lighting Failure

My Yanmar dealer states that background lighting for B type keyless instrument panel for my 3JH5E is on circuit board & I need to replace circuit board to fix lack of tachometer background light problem. Is this correct?

First photo shows instrument panel schematic with available parts listed on RHS.

Second photo is of back of tachometer - there are two black recessed items (closeup only shows one) are these the globes & if so, how are they removed?
