Re: yanmar 4jh4ae

I maxed out prop dia and pitch so I run at 28-2900 rpm at wot. That gets me to theoretical hull speed 7.4 kts. Seldom run that long at wot. typical cruise 22-2400
No way I want to deal with the noise running at 90%wot. BTW I have the 75hp version of engine

Re: yanmar 4jh4ae

We also go to 95 to 100 % revs once a month. Recomended in the manual and the mechanics I have used also recomend it to stop any carbonization and other buildups on the engine.
