Yanmar 2qm15 Curve of Impeller

The yanmar manual says that the blades should "curve in the direction opposite the direction of rotation."

The Yanmar 2qm15 crankshaft turns counterclockwise from the clutch side.

From there I am having a horrible time envisioning the direction of curve.

Anybody have a photo reference?

Thank you

Dont sweat it too much as the impeller blades can switch direction after stopping engine as it bounces back against compression. More important is to lube it on install, glycerine or detergent is good.
You can start out right of course though.

OK well direction is always quoted from the back of the boat so its clockwise or a Right Handed prop you need. Looking from the top down on the prop with a blade up the blade will go from the 8 to the 2 on a clock face.

Just to be clear about rotation directions of the 2QM15.

Viewed from the stern. The propshaft rotates CW (i.e. RH prop), the crankshaft rotates CCW and the impeller rotates in the same direction as the crankshaft as it is belt driven by the crankshaft.
