White Tohatsu Sail Pro Outboard 6 HP 25" Shaft

So the Sailing School here (SailTime) has replaced the outboards on their Capri 22's with these White Tohatsu Outboards

They actually replaced them with 20" shaft models, but the point is they look great!

And are much less noticeable as compared to a darker colored outboards. They sort of blend in the the white hull and deck of the boat.

Good engine choice. Five year warranty, inexpensive parts. Very reliable.

Re: White Tohatsu Sail Pro Outboard 6 HP 25" Shaft

I have a 2011 5 HP 4 stroke Mercury 25" shaft which is basically the same engine and at 10 years old no problems so far.

I have replaced the spark plug one time and the fuel filter one time. Impellers every couple years and oils yearly and it has been great.

I've even motored back 25 miles are so across the Bay when necessary several times.

It pushes my 6600 lb Bristol 27 quite nicely.
