here are the mounts I constructed

Mounts attach over the top of the stringers. The rear two are inline with the stringer center, the front two extend 2" past the stringer edge (3.5" off stringer center).

The cutlass bearing bracket turned out to be mounted incorrectly. It was just 'bogged in' which I guess means no filler in the epoxy, that is picture #5 in the previous post. Here is what it looks like clean

Somehow miraculously the hull is fine.

and I found a use for the 2" drive shaft extension I had made just in time to take it out of the water

Definitely substantial looking brackets. I don’t think the engine will be going anywhere with them.
