Water pump rebuild

Hello all,

I need to rebuild my Johnson water pump">raw water pump. On my last boat when I did this I sourced the rebuild kit from a company in Florida that had a great reputation. Having trouble finding them now, does anybody know who they might be? I'm looking to make sure that I'm getting the proper parts and not some cheap knockoff. Appreciate any suggestions.

Re: Water pump rebuild

Really having trouble finding the parts for this, appreciate any ideas on a good source for the rebuild kit. I seem to be able to find the kit for every pump except the one I have. Thank you

Re: Water pump rebuild

A rebuild kit is normally 2 bearings, 2 seals, a circlip and an impeller with the gasket, all except the impeller can be obtained from a local bearing shop, what engine do you have that is so hard to source spare parts for?
If you need a pulley and shaft as well, it might be useful to do a search for “Ancor” raw water pumps, use your engine type and model as the key reference, I’ve bought a few of their range of after market pumps and am perfectly satisfied with the quality and price.
