VW Petter 4 Engine Zinc Location
Hi all
I have VW Petter 4 engine it was built around 1980 with a bowman 130 heat exchanger. I have been all over this engine and don't seem to be able to find the engine zinc. Has anyone had one of these engines? I believe they came from VW Golf /Passat 1500cc. I have downloaded an old manual but there is no mention of engine zincs in there either. The heat exchanger has a couple hex bolts but when removed they don't appear to be what I'm looking for. Admittedly the zinc could be well and truly gone by now.
any help or advice gratefully received.
