Volvo Penta D1-20 knock?

Hey just got my Bavaria cruiser.. it's loaded with a Volvo Penta d1-20 with an S130-B drive attached, original from 2007 with about 680 hours.

Changed both fuel filters, engine oil/ filter and sail drive oil. Thinking about tackling the heat exchanger to make sure the fresh water cooling system is clean. Also will replace the impeller here shortly and of course checked the raw strainer a couple times. Does this thing have a reverse gear or a vacuum valve that I need to think about?

Does this sound like a knock? I'm not very good with diesels.

The Volvo Penta manual said just to use their priming button and bleed screw but says nothing about bleeding the injectors.

Also should I adjust the idle up, Volvo says should be at 850 my tach only saying 500 after a few minutes.

Cheers everyone 😊
