Well that's great would be even greater if you share with me where
From when I wrote that post I've now sourced a repair kit for $119 + freight. So much better.

I might have lost something in the translation. What is 4108? I can't find anything of this nature on 'gumtree'?

Fair enough. Thought I'd temp you with it, just in case.
Hopefully you will get the green death going well enough to keep the boat mobile until you save up for the new engine.

fingers crossed. Firstly that I can put the injector pumps back in without a problem and secondly that the lift pump mess 'was' the problem. I'm a little surprised that some of that gunk didn't go through into the injector pumps as it was on both sides of the screen.

Re: Volvo Penta 2003T Injector Pumps
Isn't there a filter between the lift pump and the injecter pump?

Of course there is yes I wasn't thinking clearly.
Fuel goes first to the lift pump, then the primary filter and then the injector pumps.

Re: Volvo Penta 2003T Injector Pumps
Oh well thats one plus. Did you find any fault in the pump other than the dirty filter? Was the diaphragm ok?

The diaphragm 'looked' ok. I couldn't see any cracks in it at all. I'm going to blow the pipes out before I put them back together just in case one of those is blocked.
I had to rush to get the pump out as the weather was turning and I needed to get a tow out on to the club mooring read for the high winds forcast. So I didn't get to do a real lot.

Re: Volvo Penta 2003T Injector Pumps
Push the lever down lifting the diaphragm to its max, height, holding it in that position push down on the diaphragm centre at the same time turn it either 90 or 180 deg
