Volvo D2-55F (2010) without THERMOSTAT? WTF?

My wife was complaining about the boiler making not enough hot water. So I went to check the opening temp of the thermostat.
Only to find there is none!

The engine is painted green by Volvo, the thermostat cover was never opened. Therefore, Volvo did not put thermostat from the start.

OK, the boat was destined for Dubai, but still thermostat is important.


I put the new thermostat - 40L of hot water very quickly. Wife's happy

No. But the paint on the thermostat cover is original and untouched.
