V8 Chrysler Nissan M8V75 marine two stroke diesel rated at 260hp

Hello all
I joined CF late 2014 and today is my first post thread.
My first question: I am looking at a trawler with a V8 Chrysler Nissan M8V75 marine two stroke diesel rated 260hp with about 5000hrs. I need input. Never heard of this diesel engine.

Google nissan u d trucks. These engines were an option in their trucks back in the seventies. Sort of a japanese version of a v8 Detroit diesel. I never heard any bad reports about them but there were not that many around here

Also the truck version was 300 hp. Quite powerful for their time.

Sounds like it may be a engine that'll be very difficult to source parts required for marinization. Check for a source for manifolds, coolers and such or you may end up with a orphan.
