Not really. The standard USCG hose is fire rated. The
fuel bulb is not.
USCG requires fire rated fuel hose for inboard gasoline installs and a fuel bulb is not rated and cannot be used. No such USCG requirement exists for recreational
diesel engine installs. There is very little in the USCG regs when it comes to recreational
diesel inboard installations.
That said. A properly installed squeeze bulb makes for a good fuel system design and I use them.
If you want to meet ABYC regs, that's a different story.
