Universal Atomic 3 Diesel alternator
Newest of newbies thanks. Previous owner told me that the motor is a universal atomic 3 diesel. I a, confidant that it is a diesel and a 3. All kinds of problems already. The motor was running but not charging. Previous owner said he would take a look at it. He took the alternator off found out it was bad and i don't think i am seeing it again.(core charge) So now i am left with the motor and no part number to order a new alternator. Any help would be very much appreciated and if you know the part numbers for fuel and oil filters for this engine that would be great also.

Have you checked the boat for manuals for the engine. Engine looks well taken care of, wiring looks good. Signs of a caring PO.

fuel filter should be a 298854
oil filter is a toss up. Get the block code from the injector pump side near the flywheel housing.
