Trigger Mercury 90 hp 6 cyl 2 stroke

Hello!

I must change the trigger.
How can i change it? Please, help.

Don’t know anything about 90 hp Mercs, but it appears that you have to remove the flywheel hub in order to get the trigger off. The inner diameter of the hub appears to be threaded for a special tool/puller to get the hub off the crank.
If you don’t have access to that puller you can make one from a heavy piece of flat stock drilled to match the pattern of two or four of the hub bolts. Protect the threads on the crankshaft with the existing nut, and use the hub bolts to press the hub off the crankshaft.
