I am looking at replacing my inoperable Atomic 4 with a ~20HP
diesel.
I have found a fair deal on a
Bukh DV 20 NR with
transmission, and am considering this driveline for my
repower. By all accounts it is a simple to maintain and reliable to operate
engine, that is uncommonly heavy... but NOWHERE, not even in it's own manual, does it state HOW HEAVY the damned thing is!
I know the A4 weighs 310lbs, and am hoping a
diesel with half as many cylinders won't weigh TOO much more!
I would also like to know what its physical dimensions are. It is going into my '74
Cal 29, which has plenty of room to
work on the A4 from every side and angle
I am assuming a diesel with half as many cylinders will be even smaller
