Seeking prop info

OK, kinda engine related. I know there is a program out there that will let you put in certain parameters for you boat and get the desired prop info. Does anyone know where that program can be found? Thanks

Gord, Thanks for the reply. The program I am looking for is a little more extensive. It allows you to enter LWL, displacement, engine and tranny info, etc. These That you mentioned are very basic. I need exact info as to size and pitch. Thanks again.

Re: Seeking prop info

Call a good prop shop, such as General Propeller in Bradenton. Give them the specs and they will be happy to run the calculations for you.

Re: Seeking prop info

Or you can buy the Propeller Handbook by David Geer and learn everything you ever might need to know.

A really helpful book for anybody who fancies themselves a boat geek. I have owned it for a decade, and probably refer to it once a month still. It is getting a bit dogeared.
