sealing fuel leak in joint

what can I use to seal the threads joining two fuel pipes,,diesel of course...

I believe that Perma-Tech Co. makes several fuel system compatible adhesives/sealants and can be readily found in many/most automotive supply stores and Wal-Mart.

Do not use Teflon thread sealing tape.

Use any paste or liquid intended for sealing fuel connections. The auto parts store will have what you need. Pipe dope from the home center will work as long as the label says it can be used for diesel fuel.
