Rust/Corrosion problem

hey guys i bought a trolling motor this year for my small dingy and the electric wire clamp red/black contacts on both the trolling motor and the battery are getting rust//corrosion very fast, is there any way to remove it or stop this from happening?

ive only had my motor out in the ocean for about 10 uses this year.
