Good input, thanks. I still had the feeling that raw water flow was not as good as it has been before, and the exhaust elbow is a part i haven't checked. Will do that tomorrow. Should be easy to check.

Checked the injection elbow, it was easy to blow through the coolant passage and there was only a little bit of black ashes in the elbow itself which came out without any problems.



Sea trial postphoned till monday as we currently have our steering ropes out for replacement.

We finally did a sea trial today, engine runs fine without the rubber cover on the tube stack. We tested for about 45 minutes, mostly at our normal 1800rpm but we also went at full throttle (2800rpm) for about 15 minutes. There is still a little bit of smoke, but less than before, and the engine runs fine without overheating.
