Repower time

Hi gang,

I blew up my port side motor. Yanmar 27hp mounted to a SD20 saildrive. I have a question, has anyone replaced the motor with the boat in the water? How did it go? Is it very hard to do? Worth the haul out?

Thanks,
TAB

Re: Repower time

If the SD and bellows are good shape there is no need to haul. Been thru plently of rebuilds/repowers of charter cats, including Voyages, never hauled for that work.
