First, the part numbers appear to be W 712/98 and W 712/83, not WK
712/98 and WK
Second, if you plug
those numbers into the MANN lookup tool, it appears that you have reversed the part numbers with their corresponding specs.
W 712/83 is 0.8 bar
W 712/98 is 1.6 bar
Combined with my inability to get the same results as you when looking for cross referenced volvo parts
or knowing how to figure out what Volvo's OEM bypass pressure specs, unfortunately I am leaning towards paying for the doubly-priced OEM part. If anyone can figure out what went wrong with this thread, it would be most appreciated.
