Perkins 4-270 fuel pump replacement?
Current cam-driven lift pump playing up. Diesel supplied to it by electrical in-line pump. Can I just bypass the lift pump and connect directly to the injector pump?

For me the answer is yes. As long as the injector pump get plenty of fuel to do its job, no problem.
