Perkins 4.236 oil cooler problems

I have the same issue you dealt with several years ago on a 4-236. Wanted to see if your solution worked or if you found an add on cooler??

Sorry, thought I reported back.

It all went well! I'm running with the Oil filter holder only since 2016 and haven't experienced any problems.
I never did test the heat exchanger properly but I can conclude that it was the problem.
My 4.236 is now at 4500hours and is only consuming a minimum of motor oil.
